Arugula, romaine & frisée, all organic and picked fresh on December 8th for Friday Night Dinner.
No one in Cranford could argue, the weather of Fall of 2017 has been incredible. Hence, our garden has been flourishing with the help of a transparent plastic tent that is protecting our crops from the morning frosts. Complimented by fresh Feta Cheese & Roasted Red Peppers from The Greek Store in nearby Kenilworth, this was a great dinner.

(By the way, I would highly recommend a trip to the Greek Store. Go on a Saturday morning! That’s when it’s most crowded, but they also have samples out of olives, cheeses, spreads etc. for their clientele to sample. The store has a great vibe. Also, there is plenty of parking in the back of the store if you do not see a spot out front.)

I’m afraid this snow may put an end to our crops, but there’s always Spring 2018!
